1. About Wimz

Wimz is a memory assistant for physical things. It lets you save WiMs, Containers, confirmed locations, photos, and Reminders so you can recall where something is, what is inside, or what to take.

2. Information the service processes

• Account information: Sign in with Apple identifiers and the account details needed to operate your Wimz account.
• Things you save: WiM names, categories, Containers, location descriptions, confirmed location history, Reminders, and related settings.
• Photos and voice input: Photos, camera input, microphone input, or speech recognition data only when you choose those features and grant the relevant permission.
• Purchase status: Subscription and entitlement status provided through Apple and RevenueCat. Wimz does not receive your full payment card details.
• App usage and analytics: Limited events such as app opens, session activity, paywall interactions, offer selections, and purchase or restore outcomes. These events may include a Wimz or RevenueCat account identifier and an Amplitude-generated device identifier.
• Support information: Your email address and anything you include when you contact support.

3. How information is used

Information is used to save and display your WiMs and Containers, keep confirmed whereabouts history, provide Reminders, sync your account, verify paid access, maintain service security, understand how product features are used, improve Wimz, and respond to support requests.

4. Photos, AI suggestions, and confirmation

When you use a photo-assisted feature, Wimz may process the image through its service and Google Gemini to suggest a description or likely Container. Suggestions do not silently become your saved location. You review and confirm what Wimz remembers.

5. Analytics and tracking

Wimz uses Amplitude for limited product analytics. Amplitude collection is configured without IP address, IDFV, carrier, country, city, region, or designated market area data. Wimz does not use this analytics data to track you across other companies’ apps or websites or for targeted advertising.

6. No background item tracking

Wimz is not a GPS tracker, Bluetooth tag, or background surveillance service. It remembers the information you choose to provide. Camera, photo library, microphone, and speech permissions are requested when a feature needs them and can be changed in iPhone Settings.

7. Service providers

Wimz relies on service providers to operate account, storage, AI, analytics, subscription, and Apple platform features. These currently include Apple, RevenueCat, Google Gemini, Amplitude, and infrastructure used by the Wimz API and object storage.

8. Data retention and deletion

Your saved records remain available while your account and the service need them. You can permanently delete your Wimz account from Settings > Profile > Delete Account. This removes your account and data held only in your private Wimz spaces from the active service. Records shared with other members may remain in that shared space after references to your account are removed. Account deletion does not cancel an App Store subscription; subscriptions are managed separately through Apple. You may also contact support for a privacy request.

9. Security

Wimz uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including authenticated API access and platform security features. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as Wimz changes. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised date.
